Award Winning Wedding Photography

Awards do not tell the story of a wedding. Photographs do.
That said, over the years some of my images have been recognised by organisations that look at wedding photography with a discerning eye: This is Reportage, Fearless Photographers, Masters of Wedding Photography and ANFM in Italy.
Each of them has its own approach and selection criteria. This is Reportage, in particular, awards only real, unstaged photographs, captured without directing the people in front of the camera. It is a demanding standard, and not every image makes the cut.
That is exactly why these recognitions matter to me. Not because they are awards to display on a shelf, as that kind of satisfaction does not last long, but because they confirm the way I have always chosen to work, wedding after wedding.
In the end, the most meaningful recognition is this: that you can truly see yourselves in the story of what you experienced.
